SOURCING, SELECTING AND RECRUITMENT
Sourcing
- To source potential candidates for the immediate and manpower requirements.
- Human Resources Management Division shall source suitable candidates through :-
- Database on existing application
- External advertisement
- Other agencies
- Labour Department
- Introduce by employees or individual
Selecting and Recruitment
- To ensure the selection of suitable candidates to meet the manpower needs of the Company.
- To provide a recruitment system that is effective and consistent in selecting suitable candidate to meet the company’s needs.
- Selection of suitable candidates for recruitment shall involve the sequence below accordance to the defined guidelines by HR Management Division:-
- Short listing
- Assessment exercise
- Interview
- Security screening by Police Department
- Appointment
All potential employees shall be offered employment subject to meeting the following conditions:
- Evidence of the applicant’s personal particulars such as age, qualification, working experience, satisfactory references, skill, and others have been produced and complied with all requirements determined by the company.
- Minimum qualification is SPM. Experience in Army and Police are an advantage.
- Applicant aged between 18 to 55 years old are encouraged to apply.
- Applicant more than 60 years old must be certified medically fit for employment by any Hospital or Medical Center.
- Issuance of Letter of Employment signed by the Head of HR Management Division or his/her nominee as per the level of authority.
- All new employees shall be given confirmation latter upon completion of the probationary period unless notified otherwise.
- The probation period may be extended for a period of 3 months. In situation where the employees is still not recommended for confirmation upon completion of the 3 month extended period, a Termination Letter will be served to the employee.
